Maycee came to us in 2020 after her 1st freshening from South Fork LaManchas. Her owner suspected that she had acidosis so we knew her production numbers would not be to her full potential that year. Taking into consideration those factors, I don't think she did too bad! We decided after 143 DIM to dry her up so that we could let her body heal and revamp for the next season, but in that 143 days that she was on test, her production totaled 369 lbs. In 2022 we made the decision to make a few cuts and because we have her daughter and her son plus retaining her granddaughter, we decided it was ok to let our beloved Maycee find a new herd. Once she kidded in April of 2022 we started prepping her for her big move to Florida where she would be reunited with her breeder!
